Mind you, it is very related to atWar:

1. You yourself have said it to be the most used tool for taking screenshots by atWar players.
2. What do they take screenshots of? atWar. atWar's not related to atWar? Okay, Clovis.
3. How do people report bugs? By taking screenshots of them.... with Lightshot. Solving bugs isn't an integral part of atWar( and every game)? Okay, Clovis.
4. Is this 'Forum' where people post screenshots taken with Lightshot not a part of atWar? Okay again, Clovis.

You're right. Even though this is a useful guide for people who don't know how to use Lightshot, it's not part of the game, no matter how good it might be. It's not part of the game or related to atWar, even though some members use it to take screen shot, this is why it's not in its appropriate forum. Next thing we'll see here is plenty of guys making threads in general forum for any screen shot program they use. For me it's nothing different than spam bots who spam ads.

How does it not relate to atWar, if most people( those using a program to take s-s's) here use it to take screenshots.....of the game? What you're saying there doesn't make sense.

If somebody wants to guide others as to which program they use and how can others follow suit, then there's a special Forum section titled "Game Strategy & Tips".
If "How to take screenshots" is unrelated, then why would clovis's own topic of "How to start making atWar videos" be an exception?°
Is it because there's a special subsection of the Forum titled "Videos"? If so, how are videos any more related than screenshots?

After all, one is a sequence of frames, but the other is only one frame. However, both are atWar-related.

Since the point of this topic is to illustrate how one can use Lightshot to take screenshots, I will not follow-up on your replies here, and I suggest you do the same by replying in PM, not on this topic, if you at all wish to do so. This applies to both you, h, and clovis.

Sure there are a couple of screenshots and vídeos related to atWar, but the creation of such content is not related to atWar as you are no using any gametool for it.

My guide is not an exception and evetything but the tags(which is the most important part of the thread) are not related to atWar. I would'be posted it in off-topic and link to it from another thread, if it was not by the tags.

Not interested in following this conversation, hence why I am not PMing you. I was not the one who started it anyway.

I could care less where this goes.... As long as it is able to assist the multitude of people who need this....

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough I meant does posting lightshot images show up as images on forums. I know imgur does but light shot does not as far as I know.

The step of "copying image url" copies the url of where that image was uploaded, usually imgur.

But it is a bit buggy in forums when it uploads it on i.prnscr.... (Another page in which lightshot uploads image).

It's not just buggy there. If you open that link, it shows no image whatsoever.

That is the reason why Lightshot is not anymore as good as it was, as long as you are concerned with sharing the images.

Except for the small fact that this hasn't happened one time (that I am aware of) since i posted this almost 6 months ago.....

Ok how to post pictures here using lightshot.
1. Take pic with lightshot
2. Save picture as
3. Go to imgur.com and upload the picture
4. Copy link url

You guys have to understand that prntscr images became private now. You have to enable each image to be viewable by others if you want them to be seen.

Use lightshot upload the image. Open the link to the image. Right click hit "Copy Image URL" and the copied link instead.

Updated. Replaced the removed stuff. They fixed their system
