I tried launching Afterwind and it said I had to install Microsoft Silverlight (Which I had already done, But for some reason asked again), I just installed it and restarted my browser, and then when I clicked launch game, it just came up with a blank screen  . Any thoughts?

Hmmm I remember there are 2 buttons and 1 button would never let me launch the game so I'd suggest trying both or just click here

Do you have a legit copy of windows? I get that on my desktop since its non legit and the plug in crashes everytime I try to start.
On my laptop however, it works.

I don't know why it asked you to install again, silverlight hasn't updated for months (I think at least)
you should probably check to see if this is legitimate, if it is though, It's maybe the launcher (I'm assuming you're talking about the desktop app it has and not through web browser) just uninstall that since it's probably for an older version and install the newer one. make sure it works through web browser first though
