Whenever my friends and I play, I usually die extremely quickly. i know this is because I never know where to start, how to rollout, and what Strategy to use.
Normally I use Imperialist and start in France, but UK, Ukraine, or Turkey always screw me over. Even if I am almost the last person to pick a country, and I picked France, someone chooses a country near me.
Basically someone always crowds me in and I don't know what to do...
What do you guys do? Any tips?

I'd suggest using perfect defense and spamming infantry.

actually i find France a good counter to Spain.
He said France is good as long as you aren't surrounded by everyone else. If it's just you and Spain in the west, then yeah it's pretty good, but not when you have 3 other guys on your ass.

All strategies are good if you know how to play them. Play wise play smart. Sometimes it's better to wait and defend. Just one tip.

With the extra marine range upgrade that I have, and the -10 cost for marines that I'm going to get, it'll be OP in my eyes.
