Relocating your capital is possible in most strategy games but it is quite problematic in atwar.
As for the buildings, that won't happen. They were created for the sole purpose of being unmovable/untransportable. That is a focal part of their main functionality.

And on the other hand, I think that the minimum rank to start dueling should be rank 8. A rank 8 player would already have enough experience to know the mechanics of the game and be able to defend his Elo in a fair way.

I also advocate that the Elo system be reset to 0, since many players who today boast of large stacks of Elo have achieved it in a rigged way.

You're not wrong...

The dueling community has been more or less self-regulating for some time. Moderators have intervened over the years, but for the most part, it has been a colossal waste of time to 'fairly' implement corrective actions once a 'dueler' has committed an offense.

Often with this community, (and this is not a criticism, but an observation that most duelers wear as a badge of honour) is that if there are 30 active duelers, there are 31 opinions on any given issue.

If several duelers get together and can agree on some rules or guidelines for a season, with specific criteria for how 'cheating' is defined, i have no issue actively moderating for that season. I think I've done it twice.

I appreciate your frustration... there was a time when several mods were active duelers, and while a lot of ideas were floated to resolve issues, ultimately it became a huge time sink, since nothing could ever be agreed upon.

For me, my bottom line has continued to be that when a season draws to a close, if the top 4 (or top 8) want to create a tournament, i will host, and observe those games personally so that the season can have a winner based on defeating fellow duelers, rather than manipulating the elo system. It's the best i can offer until i hear a better idea. ♥

Recently, we've been working hard to reduce the number of players using alternative accounts (also known as "alts") in the same game simultaneously.

Alt accounts are a clear abuse of AtWar's accessible system — and while that openness will remain a core feature of the game, it's important we all help ensure fair play.

📘 Here's a quick reminder of the rules:

1.3 "Farming" refers to exploiting the game to gain ProtoCoins (PC), Strategy Points (SP), or Elo. This includes: Using multiple accounts to win games. Creating custom maps specifically for boosting SP/Elo/PC. Sending ProtoCoins to yourself via alt accounts. Controlling both players in a duel. Participating in a coalition war with accounts on both teams.

4.1 Creating or using alternate accounts to break rules or avoid punishment is strictly prohibited. These accounts may be permanently banned, and the main account may also face consequences. Assisting banned or muted players in bypassing restrictions can also result in penalties.

🔒 How to Protect Your Games from Alts :

Disable Late Joining.

This will prevent the use of alts to ruin your game (alts suddenly spawing next to you and rushing your capital). Here's how :



Set a Rank Limit to rank 3 or 5

Restrict your games to higher-ranked players to minimize the chance of alt abuse.



Kick Guest Accounts

Most legitimate players don't enter the main lobby before Turn 3, and they typically reach Rank 6 before seriously engaging. If you see a guest joining early, it's often a red flag.

Report Suspicious Activity

Use the in-game Report button if something feels off. While we may not act immediately, every report is reviewed by the moderation team as soon as possible.
