A father, husband, and conservative commentator was just taken from us today a few hours ago, by a gunman who shot him in front of hundreds of students. May this post be here to say RIP to a great man that was taken too soon.

Charlie was a victim of the oxymoron of today's understanding of social progressiveness by self-proclaimed progressives.

Today's liberal agenda does not choose a way to destroy the established social order and rational understanding of natural and normal foundations that cannot be eradicated by force or weapons.

Only concise, targeted, radical reactions from the root to such actions is productive. No pasaran

New Game Starting Now

Asymmetric Warfare 8 by Niki

https://atwar-game.com/games/?link=5618536119

1. What's New

Hello everyone. Welcome to the 8th installment of the Asymmetric Warfare series. This release features the Chinese J-36 CAC fighter. As in previous releases, players will only be able to build defensive units in turns 0 and 1. Units available to build on turns 0 and 1 include General Infantry, Bunkers, Surface-to-Air missile units (SAM) and the Iron Dome anti-missile units. This gives all players a chance to set up before the game begins.

2. Featured Unit

The featured unit for this release is the Chinese J-36 CAC fighter built by the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation. The first thing you will notice about the J-36 CAC is that it lookes very much like the US F-35 Lightning. Unlike the F-35 Lightning, the J-36 is a reported 6th generation fighter with excellent attack (28) and defence (21), enhanced radar (24) and a decent range (18).

3. Game Protocols

Please observe the following Game Protocols:
• Unsportsmanlike conduct, personal insults or harassment of other players, will result in the player in question being banned from future games. Think before you post.
• Do not leave a game by timing out. If you have lost the game, surrender.
• Take your turn in a timely manner. Don't be the last player to take your turn every turn.

4. Game Settings

• Starting funds are $50,000.
• Capture the enemy country and hold it for two (2) turns
• Maximum number of initial territories that can be selected is one (1)
• Maximum number of allies is two (2)
• Maximum number of players is fifteen (15)
• Maximum number of turns is two hundred (200)
• Minimum rank is five (5)
• Turn duration is forty-eight (48) hours
• Allow joining until turn three (3)
• Sorry no rejoining.
• Game rule changes requires unanimous consent

I have some suggestions for small changes. I couldn't find a topic on the forum about ideas for changing this map, so I'm writing here.

Thank you. This is the right place to post.

1. Italy will likely need France's help. It is expected to be unable to deal with Austria alone.
2. Generals will be reworked for v2.0.
3. Seems like a fair change.
4. Hmmm, I don't know about that. Otto is already fully capable of defending Gaza.
5. I see no real reason (balance-wise) to make Bulgaria so powerful.
6. In fact, if you check the previous changelogs, now that the scenario is a bit more widespread, I'm in the process of eliminating "babysitting events" that are meant to induce or facilitate certain activities.
7. I don't see a problem with paying +$10 for infantry with +1 attack.
8. It will be reworked for v2.0.
9. There is already a buff planned for this event, but with the intention of adding more attack power rather than defense.
10. Seems fair.

Put it to sleep.
Inject the anesthesia and lay it to rest.
The game is done.
The friends we made are gone
The memories will live on though.

I have some suggestions for small changes. I couldn't find a topic on the forum about ideas for changing this map, so I'm writing here.

1.Italy alp bunker. Ability to build bunkers in the Alps on the Italian side, but only until turn 18. I often see when Serbia is bad that, ah goes to the Alps and overwhelms Italy with a large number of troops. Bunker doesn't give much, but it's always something. It must be expensive so that Italy builds it only in extreme cases. I would aim for 4k (400 upkeep).
2."Estus new generals". Since they have a lot of defense, they defend first, which makes them useless. If we want strange generals, I'd swap attack and defense. Then they would attack first and defend last. It seems like a small change, but it changes quite a lot, mainly in the UK.
3.No dreds in Aden. Otto cannot build infantry in the south, so even if he takes over the coastal cities, the UK can retake them with the help of powerful ships (dreadnoughts). Cons don't have chance with them.
4.Inf in Jerusalem or 10-15 inf event in t2. For the first 2-3 turns, the gaza is exposed to lb/gc uk attacks. The point is to be able to protect trench until troops from further regions arrive. On this map egypt has more troops in turn 2.
5.Bulgaria's event with a second general on turn 18. Bulgaria often needs to play PD or IF. These strategies have short range and are quite expensive to maintain.
-Bulg will be more mobile
-more independent
-more active on other fronts
-if he loses all his units, he can regain his territory
6.Uk, 1 troopship event in "Tamrida" in t2. That island its too far and troopship has more range.
7.Greek inf cost too much. Now its 5/6/5 and 80$. (normal inf 4/6/5 and 70$). My suggestion is 3/6/5 and 50$. I would also add the ability to create artillery.
8.More crit to UK building in london. Now it's too easy to destroy.
9.Adding 30-40 militia to the Otto event, near the Maskat. At this point, the event dies in the same round. This way, it will have more defense and may live longer.
10.Long range serb transport. Portugal is far.

I didn't mention anything about the Eastern Front because there's a lot of stuff there to change and it's probably best not to touch it. The Western Front with its bunkers seems well-balanced.

After reading, can be deleted.
