In the old SL editor (we need them to edite old maps) the bug of its impossible to save borders is still on. I hope soon someone can fix it.

We're planning to get rid of the SL editor as soon as the new one has proven to work. The reason you currently can't edit older maps in the HTML5 is that we don't want them by broken by some yet undiscovered bug.

Unfortunately it's a lot more complicated than it sounds. Borders are created by adding points and then connecting them with straight lines. Hand drawing will have to place a lot of points, very closely, and will most probably result in extremely slow performance - when editing and when playing.

Every time I try to edit my maps on the website it says the editor is a "Preview version" and I can't save it. Please help.

Maps created in the Silverlight editor can only be edited there for now. Only new maps can be edited in the HTML5 editor.

Guys, at day 25th I bought 2500 protocoins to buy the premium, it cost about R$100, I had to pay it by ticket, cus my family cannot afford paypal, here in brazil stuff are very expansive and I was vary excited to them to confirm my purchase, but then, they confirmed today, and today the price of the lifetime premium by protocoins costs 3999, and I only have 2500 (price when the promo was going)
Im pretty sad about this, my family dont have much money to afford my shit :v, and when I finally had the chance to buy the premium, the promo went out at the same day when the purchase went out ;-;

If you guys could help me by some way, I would be very glad...;D

It would be a good idea to make them an upgrade when they come out since the reasoning behind upgrades is to limit options for low ranks and using them is imo even harder than balancing inf and tanks

Yes, they will be upgrades. I think it's better to introduce them gradually, and to avoid confusing new users.

Are these units destroyed when you take a city? It would be neat if these units become permanently tied to a city whenever you build them, kinda like a double edged weapon if you don't use it properly

Yes, they're destroyed. I was thinking of them staying permanently, but we currently don't have mechanisms in place for that, unfortunately. Maybe in the future.

~ as others have posted, I would fully support a Market or Bank or some sort of Commerce Building that would have negative maintenance costs, so that it would be effectively a modest source of additional income.

Added Bank building, it currently reduces upkeep of every unit in the city by 10. Unfortunately, I noticed that it's not reflected correctly in the Finances menu and in the bottom toolbar, that's something that will need to be fixed. But the amount of money you actually receive per turn is correct.

Amok promised the map editor is 99.99% done and at the top of the priority list, so maybe we'll get it before the end of the century?

Things haven't been moving for a long time, because that 1% left is the really hard bit, and we could never find enough time/willpower to finish it. But now we have a dedicated programmer and things are really moving, yay!

And btw, I love this thread's idea, I hope we'll get to implement it after the 'vanilla' editor is released.

All is subject to refinement. How about +2 or +3 reinforcements? Can definitely see it being useful in certain situations.

I applaud the effort and the energy spent making this happen.

However i dont like buildings, we already have rolls and tbs, adding another surprise feature will most probably ruin the game.

No more a surprise than a regular unit, really.

Infrastructure Center: +1 movement range for all unit inside or units passing through.

Imagine long infrastructure chaining of units across continents in a single turn. Would be super expensive but worth it.

Not possible atm, the unit must stay with the stack to influence their stats.

I understand that but the fact that someone above the beginners room rank limit can play in beginners kind of contradicts the whole purpose of having a beginners room rank limit.

I believe it works better than having rigid boundaries. That way when you start a game you always get to play with similar-ranking people, as opposed to always being the highest rank in the game at rank 6 and then suddenly always being the lowest rank in the game once you're forced to leave the Beginners room. It eases the transition.

I know, I hate that stupid screen too, especially since I sometimes need to use dev tools myself
But the situation with exploits was very dire, and this is the best short-term plug we could do. Eventually we hope to fix the possibility of exploits on the server side, but that's a pretty big undertaking and will take a while. I'm also not sure it's possible to make it 100% foolproof, but we'll do what we can.

I agree this may be cumbersome but I think at the moment it is a much better system than having people be able to start games without host starting, being able to start team games without having premium ,etc. The best thing to do here for the user would be to disable the f12 key's bind to dev tools

If i wanted to earn money on the internet i would mine bitcoin. Inviting was interesting because it rewarded you with game points.

Nice how Vlad keeps earned game points which make him 2# while the rest of us get scraps(r: cents)

We're not going to retroactively remove anything from people, that's a terrible practice. And if you're only interested in inflating your SP, invest your earned ProtoCoins in SP multipliers - problem solved.
