he was right about his team colluded to make him lose. chess as manstein won on the eastern front with the help of unleashed but afterwards didn't help unleashed on western front and made fun of him with you guys. as if i remember correctly italy and other picks were trolling him too. you guys literally bullied him in that game.

When you spend all your time bragging and abusing people, it shouldn't be a surprise to find allies are scarce in your time of need.

The NC change is hilarious. Its the equivalent of a > +2 att and def buff onto the destroyers which were already the strongest default unit in the game. So random. Must be fun to abuse on the right settings.

to the removal of the ability to disable buildings.

The new map also looks nice.

At the end we had 4 teams with 5 players, thats make game legit.

Not balanced its a bad idea
If you want a scenario, you have Warhammer maps by direwolf he's doing great maps and balance them correctly

We could have a scenario players team and a competitive players team, would be fun.
Scenario players would have advantage because they know the map but who cares we're playing for fun.

WW2 is fucked atm. Witch secretly had different balancing ideas to me and was reversing my changes. The result is a mess. I'd given up on the map anyway. Getting ww2 games started is a nightmare now. The players just arent there.

I'm a big supporter of unrestricted free speech -- in the public square. The Chinese regime is indeed evil, in this and many other areas.

However, I think you've missed my point. This has nothing to do with free speech. It's about common courtesy. I don't tolerate rude or disrespectful customers in any of my real life businesses, and I won't tolerate it here. Simple as that.

You wouldn't go to a nightclub and tell the bouncer he's "incompetent", would you? He'd throw you out on your ass. This is no different.

I think most bouncers would be a little more thick skinned than that. I've heard them get called much worse than that with no consequences. And a 30 day ban is the equivalent of putting someone in hospital. I once saw someone threaten to rape Ivan/Amoks wives in global because the servers Dc'd. That person is now a moderator. If Waffel had done that, I think I would respect Sid's stance.

I've called Sid incompetent publicly in the past. I'd do it again. The last straw was when he deleted 1 of my clans cws illegally and then had clovis edit the rules after the fact to justify his decision. The proof is there in the threads and timestamps but It doesn't matter as Sid has become your RL friend and your policies have made the staff virtually untouchable to the point where random players like me have to use sarcasm and satire to make points.

What saddens me is that you've allowed this to happen. I thought you liked waff. If Sid had half a heart he would've reduced the ban but he just stubbornly clings on to it to make a point. I had remained silent until now in the hope he would relent. Most people here are just kids/young people looking to burn some time on a game they enjoy and we currently are in a global lockdown. It's cruel.

I've accepted that even by making this post I risk a permaban. So be it.

AtWar is a private organization; the Moderators are part of the staff. There is no good reason they should have to put up with abuse -- of any kind. If people are rude or disrespectful to my staff, out they go.

I noted in your post history that you were critical of the chinese regime particularly with their attacks on free speech. I find it interesting that you've adopted some of their policies in your moderation and game management approach.

I know I do. I wanted to take a moment to thank Sid for removing the menace that is Waffel from atwar. You've truly created a more peaceful and friendly community. I no longer have to open roomchat to agressively spammed Shakira lyrics. Word of your competency as a moderator/admin must spread throughout the community.

I wish they could implement a new map every year which would be played by everyone to CW and Duel,, i think that would put everyone at a fair point where all need to learn new metas and not just repeat the same moves or picks that u have for years like in the current one xD.

People like to play where they've practiced and dont like to lose. Illyria challenged everyone everywhere on every map during its peak including the scen clans and nobody was interested.

There's no point pretending new maps could be the solution. This is not a new idea, it's an old 1 that has existed since 2012. The decay of activity has affected every area of atwar as the competitive scene weakens and the scenario players struggle to fill their games. A collaborative effort between the 2 to generate activity might work, but i dont see that as likely.

Atwar is in for a rude awakening once this covid fiasco begins to die down and our lives go back to normal.

Deepfriedunicorn is probably 1 of those people who hears people complaining and parrots them while not realising how lucky he is to live in a country like Ireland and all the opportunities available to him. Yes we have our problems but so does everyone.

If you're going to be impoverished or homeless, you would want to do it in ireland. We even give our homeless 203 euro a week. The joys of a welfare state.

I performed tests on this years ago myself and can confirm it still works. Most highranks use it and some probably use it without even realising it.

This is a cancerous idea, why are people supporting this? Think about what you're advocating for. Firstly this change favours defensive strats but encourages wallspamming. Since walls will become so costly to kill it makes more sense to mass spam them. Mass wallbreaking meta is awful.

Add this as a toggleable option if you must but please don't implement it game-wide. You guys used to laugh at the RP wallers but you won't be laughing when it's optimal gameplay because walls are unbreakable!

Camping is shitty. Nothing you can do about it until elo decay implemented. Which I don't think is in the process of being a thing. Also, most clans mess around in the early seasons of clan wars. Clans let low ranks play. And people try out new things. So yes I think that plays a big roll because you might have been farming low rank players early in the season to win some elo. So now later in the season when people start trying is when you start camping that's pretty lame.

George Bush AKA Witch-doctor and I are attempting to restore the version of WW2 that was deleted by our resident community nutcase.

It is called "Old WWII Remake V1". I've promoted it. There's still work to be done to restore it to its' original standard. We are mostly going off old videos and memory to restore all the events and units. I'm using "we" but 99% of the work is being done by WD so a big big thanks to him.

If you remember any events/units that haven't been included in the map please mail myself or witch so we can add them. Balance suggestions are welcome too. The goal is to get a good level of balance while remaining as historically accurate as possible.

Lets get some games going!

Nice job guys. I like that you went and added 2 defensive strategies as defense metas are more strategic. I'll be interested to try these. They look very powerful, particularly air mech. I'd like to see 4nics face when he reads those stats.
