Hi all,

what is the best way to detect stealth units?

I lost a game recently, because I did not see his stealth units at all, even with 4-5 sentry planes covering a small area.

Did you come up with that all by yourself?

PUT UNITS EVERYWHERE

he's not wrong... (he's not talking about sentries everywhere... he means things like inf or marines) - much more effective since those units can actually do something else when needed, rather than drain your cash reserves with high maintenance of sentries.

Play using stealth, so you will understand how to fight stealth.

Ok, I thought that sentries reveal all stealth units within their viewing range or that there would be other units than can make all stealth visible.

Bottom right hand corner, the 3 circles... try experimenting with them. If you don't understand what they do, feel free to come back here

Wall everything, if I wall is broken and your not sure how assume its stealths. The more walls you have the harder it is for enemy stealths to navigate and ambush you.

Walling is one way to avoid suprises. Turn summarize screen's arrows can be useful too because you can see if some of your opponent cities used their spawn for stealth and did'nt move visible units. Your opponent economy and how much visible units he can afford to build might be indication as well. Also units have specific range they can detect stealth thereon. It's important to remember that one stealth can not detect another stealth. In order to check your units stealth detection range press to purple botton in the right side of your screen so you can build effefctive scanning formation. For example:
