Make it a habit to save every 2 seconds. I learned to do this and now I lose way less progress

This means that you don't progress at all with the map-making... just when you finished saving you save again!?
Probably you mean every 2 minutes. Or not? o.O

Sorry Terminal you are absolutely right. I haven't put to much attention on the original: "...and now I lose way less progress".

Ok slight exaggeration. I mean't every time you finish a city/country you save. Depends on how large the map is and how long it take to save.

This makes sense and is healthy for the nerves: to be sure not to lose to much work in case of disconnection!
