Serbs may shown as dirty and greedy fuckers through history to Croatia, but as Croatian, I am tellling you, honestly, that Serbs are not threat to Croatia anymore.

War is over, more than 20 years passed, and nowadays Croatians eat same shit as Serbians and the rest of Balkans. It's shit that our corrupted politicans produced.

Isn't it tragicomic that one of the most perspective countries in Europe which can feed between 15-20 million people on it's own is importing most of food from EU and leaving big percentage of it's potentials unused?
Only region of Slavonia can feed 2 Croatias, but fuck it, we don't have how to stimulate anything because politicians stimulated their own shitty asses to live like a kings.
Only tourism is saving us and trust me, when they ruin us that much so tourism is fucked up as in Greece case, there won't be so peacefull on Balkans again, at least not in Croatia.

I was kidding no need to go serious, and considering Croatia is still the 2nd biggest economy in the balkans (ironically 1st is greece), I imagine how bad the others are

So all complaining about their governments and corruption? Why no one do something?

Logical question: if your politicians are bad, why you don't vote for opposition in the next elections?

Democracy works right?

Who said we're not voting for opposition?
In Croatia, oppositions are replacing each other from elections to elections and what is done?
Nothing, only difference is amount of affairs and thefts, the rest is absolutely identical.

It's not easy to deal with corrupted parasites on political scene (independently of their views and are they leftist or right ones) who rooted so deeply that no one knows where is their end.

In Serbia? how i should do that? I mean it is true that half of the world consider us Russians superhumans but we can't play heroes in Eastern Europe for eternity.

I voted Putin in 2000 because Yeltsin advised so plus i didn't like radical nationalist 'liberal democrats' (Parnas) or communists (CPRF). Then after 4 years when i saw Putin is good, i voted him again, but the point is that i admit i didn't know for whom i'm voting, because he was new and no one know him, he just promised he will bring peace and security to Russia. But now with his history, you know whom you're voting. I believe that's how it works everywhere.

It would be so nice if you're Russian who voted for Putin, but the problem is you actually voted for Tomislav Nikolić

I lived in Greece in the 90's, it was probably number 1 or 2 place(next to carribeans) in that time, atleast for me. Economy growing, no crime, sun, summer, sea, beaches, paradise.

So greek invention democracy doesn't work? Do you take in consideration all forms of democracy or just this western style?

For example, Ancient Greece had lotocracy, where citizens are drawn from the hat and asked if they want to be in the parliament for limited time. They didn't wait for few citizens to organize in 'parties' and apply for city assembly.

---

I personally like Direct Democracy, aka Referendums. Where people decide directly about nations future and policies, while 'petty' laws are decided by experts like judges.

Example: German people vote in referendum if they want to unite with Austria, or leave NATO, leave EU, join BRICS, cancel debt to Greece, return draft, make it mandatory for both females and males to be mobilized. All the important issues of national concern. But germans who are judges at expertise will sit in their judiciary chamber and discuss about domestic laws, like punishment for crimes, pension age, minimum wage, military draft, government budget, subsidies for economy etc.

Well, that's mainly because Government and Opposition are making deals. Deal to share no matter who win in the election. Therefore 'Western Democracy' lost its meaning. Welcome to the adulthood!

Monarchy? You mean like Absolutism, or Constitutional Monarchy like Norway?

Maybe direct democracy is answer for large countries - as direct vote can unite population? Instead decentralizing, like USSR which lead to separation in crisis in the future.

What about Belarus?

Belarus have good system on my opinion. They decentralized system, which i don't support for large countries, but it works fine in Belarus.

They have 'community' politicians, like in old times, ancient greece and rome. They have party-system, where parties compete for parliament (lower house), but their upper house is composed of citizens from regions, representing regions and their people, not parties or political ideologies. Therefore, bill have to pass in both chambers before becoming law.

I debated with my father about that, and he like system just without parties. Only citizens elected by their local community should go into parliament, so they represent their region and not ideology, and they have to go back to their native region always to listen to complains and ideas from population, and then propose it in the parliament, so that politician will just be the voice of the people from particular region and not party puppet. Then interest of the people from all regions will be heard in the assembly, discussed and dealt with.

Absolutism era is long gone, Constitutional Monarchy like we had between 1853-1910, Dual House (House of the Peers and House of the Commons) etc.. like Britain has, our Constitutional Monarchy was based on that.

But once again, that was the Monarchy we had given by the Constitutional Charter (Carta Constitucional), because during revolutionary period until 1853 we had 3 Constitutions.
