They also fund various terror groups that have killed innocent people.

Saudi Arabia didnt execute terrorists. Nimr al Nimr was not a terrorist. He was a Shia spiritual leader who publicly called for the removal of the Saud royal family and that was his crime. He was also publicly very vocal, about how his wish was that the means to that end, should always remain peacefull and called for non violence..

Honestly if you look at it objectively Saudi is the worst, although i voted for Turkey because i hate them passionately.

Iran is by far the best, they are not as religious extremists and they were forced to accept Islam by war, they are more moderate and socially tolerant. Plus all the Middle East hates them.

That was my dilemma, there's nothing worse than Turks but I still don't feel that their government is the worst one there

Iran funds Hezbollah, a terror group that runs an entire country, furthermore many Iranian backed militias have been known to rape and pillage "liberated" Sunni towns in Iraq.

Saudi Arabia, while it does execute a multitude of terrorist, also executes people for the worst reasons. Their new anti-terror laws passed due to democratic protest made simply exposing corruption a crime. And with no penal code, people caught will always have execution as a possible punishment. al Nimr nephew was arrested when he was 17 for participating in these same democratic protest. His crimes included providing first aid to protesters. His family was not immediately notified of his arrest, and this boy was tortured and a false confession extracted from him. Now he is 21, still in prison, and he is to be killed through beheading and crucifixion. Worst, there has been no set date for his execution (meaning while this may offer a glimpse of hope that he won't be killed) results in him fearing everyday that today will be his last. Furthermore, his family will not be allowed to have any last word for their son. While they may be "saved" the horror of watching their son get butchered, I cannot fathom the horrible pain this young man will feel when he realizes his time has come and no one he loves or cares for will be theirs in his darkest hour.

And USA has funded Isis, Alqaeda, Nusra and others and so has Saudi. The Middle East is a mess, im not claiming Iran is a saint, but it seems everybody has their hands dirty over there somehow. And its tru Iran discriminates against Sunnis, yes. But to their defense, life as Iran is not easy. You are surrounded by 15 hostile states with different ethnnicity (arabs), different religion (being shia in a middle east majority of sunni muslims is arguably more dangerous than being christian) and you have both the West and Isis bashing on your only allies, Iraq and Syria. From what ive read, Iran really sets it self appart from the cultural and religious norms aswell, of most of the Middle East states and especially the gulf states and is way more stable, liberal and democratic. For all these reasons i would pick them last from the list.

I agree, its horrible. Plus Saudi and the gulf states even stoped pretending to help against ISIS, as they have completely halted all joint missions against Isis, focusing on fighting "Iran" in Yemen. While USA seems a bit indifferent in the situation, i like the fact that it stood back and is just an observer in all this. SA and USA alliance is weakening and the deal Obama made with Iran is really something Americans should be glad imo
