Once a unit merges with a stack, and that stack moves, the programming required to undo that units move becomes difficult. A lot of memory would be needed to remember where all the units in that stack came from - keeping a browser game as 'light' as possible is likely more important.

And i guess making this a downloadable game instead of a browser game will drastically change the code? If it's a downloadable game programmers have more freedom, yes?

If it weren't a browser game, of course.


Could be a way, many browser games have lots of players on at once, moving, recalling and attacking other units at once. Could be possible. Or at least alter the current system slightly of course.

Although I am not a coder...
