If AlphaZero made an account and constantly played duels with the best of us, what do you think it'd end up as eventually? Would it favour strats such as GC or PD like JF? Or would it be more aggressive, playing DS and LB like nic? Would it defend, slowrolling like laochra or would it rush the crap out of you like Witch-doctor? What do you think? Post your opinions here! Footnote: Before people flame me, this is a purely hypothetical scenario where a self learning software like alphazero learns how to play the game itself. Yes, it would take much more time to do that than it did to learn chess, yes it might be very difficult to program even the rules in, but...this is hypothetical.

Hmm what do you guys think a stockfish-like algorithm where you evaluated the current situation and all the past turns to estimate the opponent's money and reinf to approximate which side had an advantage, and by how much (in some certain scale)?

Isnt alphaZero the guys who made an unbeatable AI-bot on dota? Anyway i agree with enigma it would probably figure out the most effective gameplay method pretty quickly.

I know it more for this https://www.chess.com/news/view/google-s-alphazero-destroys-stockfish-in-100-game-match but...if it's unbeatable yes I guess. Four hours and it was beating the top chess computer with not just pure memory, but using beautiful tactics such as sacrifices.

that dota bot they showed at the TI? That was incredible. Apparently they could apply it to any game. It took 2-3 weeks of 24/7 playing by the bot to defeat a pro. I wouldnt be surprised if it mastered chess much faster.
