"The U.S. has been seeing massive migrant numbers, with caravan-size migrant numbers being encountered every few days by agents along the border."
"
There were more than 234,000 encounters in April alone"
"The migrant caravan, which at one point swelled up to well over 10,000 migrants as it set off toward the U.S. border from southern Mexico, has now broken up"
"although organizations say that they will still travel to the U.S."
This sounds familiar.
In 58 BC, the Helvetii were migrating from Germany (i.e., central America) to Roman Gaul (i.e., U.S.) in search of a better life.
To do so, The Helvetii had to cross the Rhone river (i.e., Rio Grande)
One day, in the middle of their crossing, Caesar slaughtered 25% of the migrants. The other 75% retreated. Caesar crossed the river to pursue them (i.e., crossed into Mexico).
Then, he used stalling tactics to "
fortify his position with a wall nineteen miles long and a parallel trench" (i.e., Trump's wall)
Then, Caesar's legions battled the Helvetii, killing 238,000 of them. Subsequently, they surrendered.
Where is America's Ceasar?
We have the wall. But for some reason we refuse to engage with the migrants in battle, even though a small squad of U.S. soldiers could probably destroy the entire caravan. Order and safety is the very reason why migrants are coming to the U.S. We should live up to their expectations by bringing forth order and safety to the continent. I think we need Trump to lead an American battalion through Mexico. Imagine how popular he would become with his base. He would be like Andrew Jackson in the battle of New Orleans.
