When starting a game we buy a country to be our capital. the only unique thing about it is if someone else takes it u lose and the general . but what if u can have a more powerful capital country like an extra 5% or 10% income from your capital country plus capital city gets a extra +1 reinforcement every 4 turns. but if your thinking if someone else gets my capital then they get bonuses then no its just normal to them.

Don't support. In world games or long games, you would get a lot of reinfs in your cap.

I think a basic improvement could be made to the capital country without making it too overpowered. The reinforcement idea's too much, but the income increase is a nice idea. This could actually make it more worthwhile to grab larger countries to start off games, because someone who takes India (Commonly regarded as a bad idea since it costs so much) would get a much nicer income bonus than someone who used Pakistan to take India. I think, if anything, this would actually balance gameplay further if you were to only be giving +5% or +10% income to the capital country.

I thought he mean't like if you picked Germany then Berlin would get 9 reinf. every 4 turns instead of 8. Well just keep the income then.

I support something like this... or some kind of difference between home country and conquered countries. irl conquered countries surely don't bring as much revenue / manpower as a home country? in fact I really don't know what happens in that situation irl. any experts?

Well the populace would be devastated. Also frequent revolts and nationalism.

I don't like this idea, seems sort of pointless. Plus, it makes strong countries even stronger. :S
