Setting Elo-range when creating a duel

Was suggested multiple times already. Basically when starting a duel you set min-Elo and max-Elo, and only people in this range can join your games. This would take less than a few hours to code and would be really useful.

Hold buttons yes, but no 1st turn leave. We already had that in the past and it was horribly abused. There is also a separate thread for the suggestion, so it shouldn't be discussed here any further. This is the thread.

Do you want to argue for argument's sake Goblin? A restriction I set myself is something nobody can ever violate. Nobody can force me to duel someone with much higher or much lower Elo if I do not want to. This is something entirely different than a restriction the game sets for people not to duel someone outside of a certain range.

losing elo for the 1300 elo point guys will be worse than winning elo

Ofc cause u loose more than win in that case.

But we are talking about farming.

If u play players of yor elo level the difference is not relevant.

But no sense for players with more than 1200 elo duel players with 900 920 950 980, althought u win 1 or 2 points u are farming so hard.

No i wonder why this suggestion?

Nah mate ...i argue for arguing just on pointless threads that lead nowhere and others don't know how to point out that im wrong so in the end i argue myself xD

Im just a bit pissed off at people who now refuse to play others with lower elo while i fought does same people for shitty 1 elo when i was at top.

Thinkin about is this beneficial ...and its true no one can force anyone to duel if they dont want.

support and gd idea, we have rank range so why not elo range, maybe it could be included in html5 version ;thumbup;

It's my decision with whom I play anyway. Try to enter a chess tournament playing Magnus Carlsen, it won't happen because for him it's a waste of time. Same goes for atWar. I want to play good people and not waste my time waiting for some random rank 9 to leave my duel.

Good point, as has been said already its up to the host if a game starts or not so it may as well be included.

This isn't in any case a restriction for anyone, it is just an option for players. They can use it or not.

I know you want or mean, but why If u don´t want some kind of players or ranks in your duels are you dueling or playing them so?

You say you play for 1 or 2 shity points, that´s fake, you play against him cause you know perfectly you are going to win that rank 4 or rank 5 in 99,8% of times.

It´s not only the rank 4 or 5 deccision to join or not, you could perfectly say not to him cause you know you are farming him and he has no chance.

But i think you play them cause if you loose 17-20 points in a duel u can perfectly recover them playing some ranks 5 or 6, it´s easy.

Only player "maybe" has really reason for supporting this is air zone, cause he´s really the only one that has sense in his duels and just duel high ranks and with high elo.

So stop being hypocrite when most of u loves to duel low ranks and farm them. ( and stop saying u play cause they loves to play against u and loves to loose)

i get prs from low ranks all the time asking for a duel to test themselves against me, i dont always accept but i would not be so rude as to say "sorry but i know ill beat you so im not going to waste my time playing you."

Theres not always a surplus of decent high ranks on to duel against in any case, for most players whoever they duel against really isnt so contrived, they just duel who ever joins and move on. Stop making this silly argument everywhere.

No man i´m not stupid and i know perfectly how it works.

First of all i don´t need to "farm" and get 1500 or 1600 elo, it´s something that does not make me to loose sleep.

I could do it and all decent medium or high rank could do it if we start playing and farming low ranks as you and lot of players do, and just playing duels for it, but i have some rules with myself.

Farmig elo is possible and it´s the easiest thing in this game..
It´s just a high rank with a big amount of upgrades (or maybe full upgrades and general) dueling everybody incuding low ranks, noobs, no premiums, 950 elo players, etc etc etc...

So why do u complain of a shity 1 or 2 points if u are going on with that?

It´s only cause that player has no chance to beat you just in a 0,00000001% or if you get disconeccted and you know perfectly.

If u are so good as you think you should be able to keep more or less your elo with high ranks, and you wouldn´t need to duel low ranks as you and many other players are doing just to appear in the top list elo players.

It´s like when F.C. Barcelona or Bayern Munich get defeated by a high team and next games they try to play against some second division teams for recouping of that game.

So why are you so obsesed with your elo points?

And so many times they don´t know what elo means and what are they doing and you know it perfectly too, so don´t make the excuse about "they wants it or they loves it or they want to be rapped" as you say.

When you see a rank 5 player with 950 elo points you know perfectly "how good he´s", so i think are you reallly who loves it cause you kow it´s a easy victory and 1+2+1+3+2,5+1+1,5 etc etc etc you increase that amount of elo.

But i think you still don´t understand it and it will take to you lot of time to understand it.

They are not silly arguments, are the reality.

In that case u are not being so rude, you are being honest, and you can say the same with other words, "sorry i can´t actually" or "i´m waiting for a mate" or something like that, not needed to say him "u are so bad for me and my time" u can be polite and realistic and honest.

Also take into account that i wasn't always a rank 11 while you count my 2000 fucking duels played.

You would come to calculations that i didnt won shit from playing lower ranks compared to huge elo i have won by playing high ranked higer elo players.

Dude if you are talking about me i don´t play the same thing over and over and over, i play lot of different games as u can see in my profile.

And yes i duel sometimes as u can see too.

Who is hesitating? I think the only person who hesitates are you with this acctitudes and playing ranks 5.

This is not territory of anybody and it´s of everybody, are opinions about the game and his options.
