How did you discover Afterwind?

A good gaming n social network indeed. It helped me found a lot of great multiplayer games but, and without any regret i say this, this is the best by far. Hope it will stay alive for long ^^

I found afterwind at silverlight.com as one of the showcases what you can develop with this technology.

I found out about it because I was playing another game and I saw that people were talking about it on that game's forums. I came to check it out and now I'm addicted.

I was bored so i searched "strategy game" on goggle, and i was looking for something like TEG (an older version of RISK), if you've ever heard of it, but this is so much better!!!

I found it from some random site of which I now don't remember the name too :/

I found it on youtube. I was bored so I typed in top ten browser game, and that's basically how I got to know Aw

this game made me leave the site,as i couldn't get focused in the game and 8 year old kids thinking their trolls by expressing nazism and communism

I love strategy games and i search in youtube for new strategy games and found Afterwind.
this game is best strategy.

How I found 4chan is a whole nuther story of its own.

Basically, I got obsessed with Risk, but none of my friends enjoy playing it. So I went all over the 'Net looking for "online risk." Found websites with lists of online Risks, and found an interesting website that I couldn't frickin figure out (or my browser was bad). So then on the third page of my Google search, "Afterwind- Free browser based multiplayer strategy game (Risk, Civilization, Axis & Allies)" whose description read, "In the best traditions of Risk and Civilization, you fight against other players for world domination on a real world map, with 200 countries and 500 cities." I saw it on the front page of Kongregate before, but I paid no mind because I'm not into multiplayer games.
So I created an account with the username I usually use, AND IT WOULDN'T WORK. I considered ragequitting and just going back to Civ4, but I really wanted a Risk like game so I kept trying, and for some reason, it wouldn't connect to the game. Then I tried it on Firefox instead of IE, and it somehow worked. "This better be a good game if I had to spend an hour trying to connect." It was better than Risk.
Basically, I can thank 3 things for my being here. A. The fact that there are no good online Risks, B. Whoever the heck wrote that advertising thing on the front page, C. Mozilla Firefox. I switched to Firefox afterward, SCREW YOU INTERNET EXPLORER!!!

I was bored,so I went on youtube and tried to find free browser game reviews.After looking at a Superpower 2 Review,I saw the Afterwind review and decided to give it a try.

I was referred via some sort of strategy games place. I don't remember where, but I'm pretty sure it was a forum. I ended up sharing it by forum and with friends as well.
