I was told i probably couldnt put it in the competition for the competitive map but i made it anyways for all of you competitive players to enjoy, its called Europe+ 1988 its your typical Europe+ map with a few major changes to game mechanics for the era of the cold war just before the USSR collapse and the fall of the iron curtain in europe. I hope you guys will check it out enjoy <3

Good map!

Where did you find it? Map, scenario or preset? Doesn't show in Hell's profile.

Some suggestions after a brief glance at:
  • Change West German territories (Niedersachsen, Bund, etc.), since they are not correct; rather use north, central and south.
  • Review borders of Baltic region; need to include islands (which aren't really small) and exclude lake Peipus as territory.
  • Caucasus is also not very accurate, since Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia also belong to the so called Caucasus.
  • Also the rest of the USSR territories are not really accurate; maybe add some more territories and giving Kaliningrad back to Russia...

Hmm, this is world map but tweaked, you just joined some countries. Anyway, I think ukraine has more reinfs now. It would always rape turkey. And Germany seems to have lots of reinfs? Can't see.

Alex I don't think I like you lol, you always seem to have something to say about things your not very food at yourself. Map making is very complex and the way I see it the competitive community isn't ready for any major me changes 1988 was a baby step in a new direction for competitive play nothing more. Not every map will be a home run and I know not everything I do as a map creator is very good. But I'll kep trying cause nothing ventures nothing gained.

Why even bother to call this a competitive map? It's not competitive at all, just another scenario map.

Theres no scenario for the map what do you mean? Its a typical 3v3 map with countries from pre collapse of the communist bloc thats all.
