Player mute

I was just wondering why when you mute someone they can still see your messages and they can continue to bad mouth you even though you can't fight back now because there messages don't appear. Was this by design or was it a coding limitation by the Dev team? What would be the proper way to go about this? As most of you know me, my personality will not allow me to not stand up for myself. So it's disheartening to mute someone then have a friend pm me and tell me they are talking about me. The intent of muting someone is to cut communication with them, not to stick my head in the sand like an ostrich while I get hit in the back. Thanks in advance for any advice. As you will probably see king jim here, he's my latest admirer, I have him muted but he'll be here still, it's very annoying I can't just cut ties with people like this because of a faulty mute system.

See what I mean? King Jim, 1 Minute ago, 2 comments, 1 ignored, I'm extremly bothered because I know he's said something offensive twards me, because he can still open my thread even though he's muted. It's really bothersome.

My suggestion would be a system like map bans. But instead banning people from commenting on your posts In forum, it would alleviate alot of wasted time I spend fighting these people who I really don't care to have any contact with in the first place.

If you want to see his messages, unignore him. He has every right to see yours even if you have ignored him, as he hasn't ignored you. It's been like this since the games creation, so I doubt the devs will bother changing this thing.
