What's the point of Resetting Upgrades?

Whats the point of it again?

Also doing ti just before getting prem makes you able to have more upgrades since prem gives you 10% discount on upgrades if I remember correctly.

My upgrades were automatically discounted when I bought premium.

When I was like r8 or r9 I got exclusive weapons, so I reseted my upgrades because when I was lower rank I bought some upgrades that werent usefull for the maps that I played, that way I got the most usefull upgrades like infantry and general upgrades and it really really helped me
