Banlist Issues.

Currently the banlist blocks players from joining games by the host who uses it and it also prevents them from spectating the game. The latter aspect of this feature is uneccessary and is being abused.

The host already has the ability to ignore players and for those random instances where the ignore button doesnt work, they can turn off gamechat. They should not have the ability to prevent the ignored player from spectating the game, especially in the case of large teamgames/ffas or cws.

In my case i have been banlisted by the host of another clan even though i havent put a foot out of line in any of his games. It's completely out of spite, especially since he now insists on hosting cws vs other clans purely so me and my clanmembers are unable to spectate.

I propose the banlist be adjusted so it simply blocks the offending player from joining the hosts' games, or at least do this just for clan wars.

And on the flipside, there is no reason a player should not be allowed to watch friends/rivals/clanmates play due to issues with the host. While the host has the option of switching off chat. The banlisted players only option is to log an alt.

Tunder3's solution is acceptable, but a preferable solution would be fixing the ignore bug.

yes it is a personal problem.The problem once again is you.You insist on being the one creating evol's cw versus any clans, by blackmailing, just so that you get "revenge" on every player that ever talked bad to you, by banning them.The thing is that with your actions, you dont hurt us, but you hurt evol.All of us have nothing against evol, we love most players there.The only exceptions are mindless minions that follow and agree with you on everything, like war, croat and comando.The rest are lovable.But you are putting us in a situation where we have to be enemies and fight, just because you have low self esteem issues, that drives you to harass and banlist every player that ever had a problem with you.

Bottom line, you have problems buddy.And you are not straight in the head.You are creating enemies for the whole of evol, because you are problematic.Stop banning people from your cws and relax.Enjoy the game, cause it is actually only a game.Oh and go see a shrink. Like, yesterday.

dont generalise, this is the first abuse of it i have encountered in the competitive community if you want to label players as such because they play cws. The other abuse i have encountered was by adog, we all saw his threads before the feature was even released.

But i dont agree with acqui, the banlist is fine, solves a lot of the trouble ppl were having to deal with in scenarios and custom maps. However the feature just needs a little tweaking.

The problem was always adog, and I can't remember anyone wronging me except him. All I did to do was saving atWar from a collective banlist influenced by adog. He is repeatedly abusing the banlist, he has a disgusting personality which is not suited for any kind of power at all, so I have no idea why he still can ban people. If he had any power over a collective banlist, only his ass-kissers would be able to play scenario, and the state of AtWar would have been much worse.

Remove the "ban from my games" option.

Once I appeal my ban in the banlist threat, they say " Is the same as if he kicked you. Anyway is his game".

However there is a difference between join a game hosted by a normal user and be kicked by him, than not join the game because that user banned you for.......... I mean, is not his map, he dont have the right to kick me.

if this gets implemented then you can join any map as long as you are not banned in that map, and the hoster can decide whenever kick you or not.

Ban from playing my maps should stay.
Ban from my games should be removed.

Multiple people have globaled 24/7 in global about this cw ban, including me and nero.
