Post what life in your city/town/country looks like.

I'm from New York, USA. I used to live close to NYC which looks something like this.

But recently I moved upstate which looks more like this.

Ok, now it's your turn.

BTW this a remake of an identical thread from back in beta. It's fun to see the diversity of backgrounds in this game. If you want you can see that thread here. Also feel free to post any photos of popular foods, events, or anything interesting from your country.

Do you know what that building with the columns is in the third photo? Looks like a government office or maybe a museum.

"Life" in my city? What life?

I've spent my entire life hopping from one faceless sprawling Asian metropolis to another faceless sprawling Asian metropolis. Oh, sure, they look nice and shiny on tourist posters, but have you actually tried living in them?

The only city I've actually managed to decently enjoy is Bangkok. Great food, mostly.

Beijing was a positive nightmare. It's perfect for those oddballs who enjoy being harassed by bureaucrats every time they have to renew their visa. Seoul was much friendlier, but it's highly constrained. A very functional city, not really enjoyable. Tokyo was way, way too crowded for my taste. Trying to catch a train at 7:00 morning makes you learn what it feels like to be tuna stuffed in a can.

Don't even get me started on Khabarovsk. Oh, goodness, the nightmares.

Introducing to you, Palma de Mallorca; otherwise known as that 1 reinforcement spanish city in the middle of the mediterranean:

Lots of ships from rich people and our beautiful cathedral, the only one which is reflected on the water (very beautiful during night):

We've also got our little circular castle:

And our great olive tree in front of the town hall

The best part of our city might be it's size (not too big), some beaches full of hot girls during summer (although too many buildings have been built around it), and the historical center. Besides from that, it's the same shit every city has. The best part is in the rest of the island but that's another story I guess.

And this is how my neighbourhood looks like at 3 am during winter from my balcony (didn't have another picture XD)

LOL don't worry, it's a nice place I guess ^^
I've been there, the only thing there is to visit are beaches (which are volvanic ones, formed by rocks, not sand), nothing special in their cities, nothing special about their landscape, just a couple mountains and desert. The most exciting thing that could happen to you is a volcanic eruption during your stay
