Would be really nice if instead of just having to buy protocoins for someone, you could also send the ones you already own. It's especially useful when you get paid for map making or if it involves any sort of an agreement, for which you'd get a reward( in PCs). This also removes the need to contact moderators or admins to do the transaction for you. Now, just do it yourself. A response to criticism on the abuse of this feature: There are many things admins can implement to avoid the abuse of this feature. For example, limit the rank at which it can be sent; Setting the minimum amount of PCs to be sent; Having a system which monitors who and how often( and based on that - regulations, like flood control = PCs control) sends PCs and many more!

I'm surprised why Amok and Ivan didnt add it yet, there are some online games who allow players to transfer premium points to other players, for example: Tribalwars. Full support on this idea, a good one indeed

I guess it's because every account starts out with 50 protocoins, so this could essentially be abused. Adding a rank limit for it wouldn't help much either so I dunno how this would work. Of course they can remove the bonus 50 pc but it wouldn't really be worth it.

In that game I mentioned, you get premium time when u reach a certain amount of points (5000, then 15000 and then 100000) which takes a lot of time to reach 15k and 100k points), you could remove the 50pc bonus and maybe give a protocoin bonus everytime you rank up like rank 10 gets 50 for example and those pc bonus would be only on higher ranks, rank 9, rank 10 etc...

I'm only saying this will remove the fuss of having to contact a moderator/ admin and it'd be great if we, map makers, could use this to pay to the contributers who help create our maps. There are many things admins can implement to avoid the abuse of this feature. For example, limit the rank at which it can be sent; Setting the minimum amount of PCs to be sent; Having a system which monitors who and how often( and based on that - regulations, like flood control = PCs control) sends PCs and many more!

Well, it could be abused as Stryko says.... you'd need to remove that initial PC... not sure if it those initial PC are that important or not but they would need to be removed and then I'd like it to be implemented, just so that (I / you / he, she, it) don't have to bother Ivan with such things

As I said earlier, many limits can be imposed, such as for the case you mentioned - not allowing to send 50 or less.

Farming translations for protocoins would be a major problem. As it is after a certain number of translations you would stop receiving protocoins. Players would make a 2nd account with the purpose and farming this protocoins and sending it to their main.

Ok, true, so true... but... it's not the same translating than farming noobs... translations gotta be accepted by language moderators too...

Translation mods can't really tell apart alts. Besides legit translation aren't really hard to pull off.

First of all, you can't translate unless you're rank 5. Second of all, I wouldn't accept a translation that isn't accurate. Third of all, I wouldn't accept cheap translations, where, for example, someone has only changed comas in several translations, it's obviously suspicious. Lastly, if they wanted the PC so badly, they'd be translating on their main accounts. No need to translate through alts and then send the PC to themselves.

After translating on their main and hitting the cap they will lose the initiative to translate on the main and rank up an alt to rank 5(not too hard I personally have 4 rank 5+ accounts) and translate on it. Besides you are not the only translation mod and I am sure the admin are keen on adding more languages to the game.

Small nontransferable PC incentives I think is a good idea, mainly to try upgrades/features before SP/cash is spent them. I think that would be both a good way of encouraging players to play and allowing them further to see the benefits of some of premium features. Support.

@Translation: Make the reward non-transferable. Problem solved @"How to make them non transferable": Make them like a bonus. You don't have them, but you can buy subscription with them. Ex: Let's say you get 500 protocoins from translation and one month subscription cost 800, then you don't have the protocoins but a discount of 500 in that subscription.

If you think they'll farm, ban the action which promotes them to do so. As I said, set the minimum amount of PCs to be sent. That will stop most of the issues you mentioned from happening. Or as clovis had mentioned, make the reward from translating non-transferable.

Idk man... I find hard to believe that someone that wishes to gain fast PC would ever make such an effort to reach the translation cap without trolling... it's really high.

How about an account needs to have a verified email address and an unique IP address to send protocoins? That should make it harder to farm protocoins.
