Greeks for thousands of years ran the world through there philosophy and ethical code, only to be destroyed time and time again from about 700 ad till present, I sometime wonder what the world would be like if the Greek pushed back the Slavic and germania hordes, destroyed islam or better yet never left the Indus river. Under hellenic culture this world grew exponentially, but look at us now. There's a good chance we'll completely destroy our own race soon.

most of those great minds that people praise got excluded and executed by the greek authorities and the culture because of their healthy mind.

well i learned some about pyrrhus in italy, about alexander and bynzantine generals i don't know much, only from history channel years ago and only fuck knows when it comes to them.

anyway, as anyone can tell you, every culture as its great generals, greeks immediatly enjoy better reputation.

Macedonians where greek, trapizous was greek, bynzantine was greek, epirus was greek, Sicily was greek, carthage was greek, from antoich to Alexandria was greek hell there was even a movement in northern Indus region (modern day Afghanistan that practices Greco-Buddhism . Just because they where not residing in what we call modern day greece do not make them none greeks. In case you didn't realise it was a mockery of how Turks say every important person ever was a Turk. Also, while Alexandria and Antioch themselves were Greek, the area inbetween wasn't, it was Phonecian and Jewish. but it was goths, slavs and hunnes who destroyed eastern rome, and, islam originated in a place that the byzantine empire never owned, besides, the main threat in the east was the sassanides who were zoroastrians, while islam just used the situation of byzantine fighting with the sassanides :S
