You have to think of the consequences that comes with this, and how easily it can be used as a trolling mechanism. This will single handedly make some players with those legitimate reasons for leaving losing out on one of there favorite scenarios or map. Also, how the already current trolls can completely abuse this against players that they just simply don't like. I think this will cause more problems in the future then how many problems it can fix right now.

Honestly, you would be surprised. Most of the afterwind map makers don't conduct themselves the way they should towards the players. I can guarantee you 5+ map makers (well known/often maps) If you'd like I can inbox it to you so I don't make a big public ordeal about it.

Mapmakers already have the power to do this. They could unpublish and only play private games. Mapmaker content belongs to the creators. I've never banned players for personal reasons, If I have, I've corrected the mistake within a day. My maps have simple rules which people like you and your friends enjoy breaking to ruin them. On many occasions you have sought out to ruin these games, you think its funny, we dont.

When we get a ban list, I will only add minor troll accounts. Main accounts on my ban lists will be given amnesty if they ask. I also wont be adding you or LeLouche.
But LeLouche and the other troll still deserve week long suspensions for what they did. They wasted over 3 hours of our time relentlessly ruining that game. You were also happy to do this. The incident which wasted over 3-4 hours of our time where multiple high ranks ruined our games by leaving within seconds of starting turn was commited in front of a moderator. The trolls boasted about what they did, they admitted it openly. If someone has to leave but within seconds returns to laugh at players and high five fellow trolls about what they just did, its clear cut. When these players get friends from the same coalition to repeat this 3 more times, with a moderator told and watching. Its not an ambiugous scenario.
These players were given mild 'warnings' so guilt was already asserted. The point was that the punishment didnt fit the crime. Mods didnt act the way they should and the trolls continued their spree while mocking players games they ruined. In this forum they continue to act cocky, mocking YOUR rules and those ciaiming to uphold them. The lack of punishment and reaction forced us to act, we dont trust mods to do their job so we wanted a in game ban list.
This incident was commited in front of a mod who saw the whole thing. 13 other players saw it. Guilt was asserted but no proper punishment given.
Their "●" should be removed for a start.
But thank you for the proposed ban list.

You know there are more civilized methods of getting what you want instead of ruining the game experience of the players.
All the more "civilized" methods failed miserably, as you can see even from the posts in this thread. Cthulhu says he "punished" the player, yet his post is followed by countless posts of the same troll who is floating around freely, and who continues to laugh in our faces, after openly admitting he did it. It's unbelievable. Then my eyes light up for a second with hope when I see columna saying punishment will be enforced. Then the next post belongs to... guess who, that's exactly right, the TROLL  . Wow. That was some harsh punishment right there, way to go. I bet it stang a bit.
Lets see how long ur fellow map makers last before they republish thier maps

Cthulhu is right, unless the players admits to trolling, there's not much to be done - people have a legitimate reason to quit the game sometimes.
But he did admit, right in this thread. And when there is a legitimate reason and players have to leave turn 4-5 or whatever, it's not a problem. It's about the ones who do it on purpose, turn 1, and when it happens it's so obvious anyone can see it.

Oh for the love of god, lelouch just apologise and stop trolling games you dont like, youve become the proverbial straw to this problem, and here you are in this thread making things worse. i support this strike of theirs, some stronger punishment should be inflicted on the assholes that join games that take time and patience to fill soley to troll and ruin them. it certainly wouldnt do any harm for some reevaluation to those rules.
and im dissappointed fock to see you here as part of the problem. dislike tiktok for his personal views or whatnot but too few mapmakers are capable of making a fun/interesting map with some level of balance or perfect imbalance. and tik is probably one of them best of them. These guys dedicate their time to making these maps for the rest of us. whether you appreciate this or not, it is perfectly within their rights to demand respect is given to the gameplay and players of these maps.
and its worth noting that those in this thread dismissive of this strike are mainly those who dont player scenarios/custom maps, are part of the problem for which this strike was started, or have personal issues with the mapmakers themselves.

You, on the other hand, sat in front of your computer for another 30-45 minutes (as you stated previously since you say that's how long they take to fill) and then played the actual game for another 1-3 hours. So, I spent 5 minutes while you spent 1-3 hours roleplaying a country during WW2 on a computer screen. I'm the pathetic one? And you act as if there wasn't a purpose behind that game. I intended to play the game throughout the entire game or until I died. I also saw numerous others bitching about trolls and leavers. These people who complained about other trolls and leavers are the same who go off and troll UNs (back when they were around) and troll RPs. Seemed like a bunch of hypocrites, so that's why I did it. You are under the assumption that 100% of my time is devoted to trolling. That WW2 is the only game I have trolled since the days of UN back when I was a rank 5 and 6. My time is spent in 3v3s and CWs. If I was a troll who left every single game first turn, my leaver percentage on my profile would be somewhere between 80-100%, which it isn't. Ok unleashed, lets do the math here. I was in that game for 5 minutes max. You, on the other hand, sat in front of your computer for another 30-45 minutes (as you stated previously since you say that's how long they take to fill) and then played the actual game for another 1-3 hours. So, I spent 5 minutes while you spent 1-3 hours roleplaying a country during WW2 on a computer screen. I'm the pathetic one?
So you just spent the other 1-3 hours trolling other games or doing whatever in AW. Still the same amount of time, except I really enjoyed myself and the struggle of playing germany which exalts my senses everytime. So to conclude, yes, you are the pathetic one.
Even in this thread you act as if you have some divine right to play your WW2 without it being trolled

I intended to play the game throughout the entire game or until I died. I also saw numerous others bitching about trolls and leavers. These people who complained about other trolls and leavers are the same who go off and troll UNs (back when they were around) and troll RPs. Seemed like a bunch of hypocrites, so that's why I did it. Was it right? Probably not.

yet you and tik condemn 3v3 players for acting the same way. You and tik-tok and the others who took their maps down don't give two shits about anything else being trolled. You only care about your precious scenarios. Otherwise, adog and numerous others should be banned for all the RPs and UNs they have trolled in the past.

You are under the assumption that 100% of my time is devoted to trolling. That WW2 is the only game I have trolled since the days of UN back when I was a rank 5 and 6. My time is spent in 3v3s and CWs. If I was a troll who left every single game first turn, my leaver percentage on my profile would be somewhere between 80-100%, which it isn't. You are making assumptions based off of one game. Your entire post here is invalid due to this fact since your entire goal is trying to make me out to be a troll.
The point is that it is hypocritical that you point out OUR lack of social life and boast yours, when you actually take time to troll WWIIs. You used to troll UN games all the time and your abandonment rate is above 50%.
Considering you joined well over a year after I did and you have 300 more games played than I do, I think who wastes more time in game is clear now?
But no, what am I talking about? This wasn't directed at me, it was directed at Unleashed. Unleashed has averaged 98 games per month while you have averaged 89 games per month. Not that big of a difference there. Tik-Tok, however, has averaged 69 games per month, significantly lower.
You can argue that the people involved in this strike have too much time on their hands and should do something better with their time, but the reality is, your social life isnt exactly a great competition to that of Unleashed and Tik-Tok.

Tik-Tok, your original post begins with "Negotiations failed. Its time to go on strike." - that seems strange to me, since I've never heard of this issue before and certainly didn't have any negotiations.
You should remember that Mods cannot resolve anything that requires coding, and apparently this issue cannot be fixed simply by moderation. Cthulhu is right, unless the players admits to trolling, there's not much to be done - people have a legitimate reason to quit the game sometimes.

A list which allows map creators to prevents certain palyers from playing their maps/scenarios.
We have decided to create such a list. Hopefully it would help.
Mind telling us how you are going to implement this. Will the map makers alone be able to prevent certain players from playing the game ? Or will they need approval of Mods as well.
I support your intentions but I am afraid it might be intentionally used to prevent certain players from playing the game. You will have to ensure that the system ultimately doesn't get
misused in any manner.

And who used to troll those UN games with me? You did. Hell, that's why you started talking to me in the first place because we both would do it at the same time. Games played is such an inaccurate measurement tool to see how long we play. I average about 8-10 turns played per game and about 4-6 turns when I play 5k per game. When you look at Unleashed's profile you see the same statistics when he plays 3v3s and about double that when he plays scenarios. Also, keep in mind that WW2 games are 5 minutes, and most 3v3s and CWs are played in 4 min (unless somebody who needs more time due to lag or something) and most 5ks and some duels even are played in 2 min. Tik tok has mutliple games that last 15+ turns some even in the 40s. If you want to measure how long I play and compare it to yourself, tik-tok and unleashed, take the turns played in WW2/RP games and multiple the turns by 5 since every turn is 5 minutes and take all turns played in 3v3s and cws and multiply it by 4 since every turn is 4 minutes. But if you did that, it prove your theory false and would only support my argument.

Simple. My suggestion is this: A screenshot would be taken right in the moment when the trolling happened (like the one I took of fockmeard, which is an obvious case, yet cthulhu chose to ignore it), and it would not be posted publicly (cause I don't think a thread dedicated exclusively to that is allowed). Instead it would just be showed to a mod by the map owner. Then he can add that player to the list and prevent him from further ruining it and wasting everyone's time.
If anyone else has better ideas, feel free to add.

'do and did' The screenshot taken by Unleashed was taken well over a month ago. What evidence do you have to support that I still do it? I haven't touched an RP and that WW2 was the only one I have trolled. If I trolled more, there would be a lot more screenshots of me doing it. Not to mention the people who play these games that get ruined love to let everybody know who did by spamming the lobby and globals like they did with me back when I trolled UN. I love how you take the tactic 'You trolled a lot of games therefore you waste more time on here' because I completely dismantled your previous argument.
Regardless of how much you trolled, you were still a troll. No matter how you try to spin it, we both have a history of ruining UNs. Period.
Also, who was the person who boasted that you and your friends on your website were able to completely shut down another website because you trolled it so hard? You. I admit though I gave you another site to troll, but I did not spend my time orchestrating it nor did I spend my time participating in it.
