Map Promotions: Community Suggestions

The Supporters Team will be promoting one map per month. Here, the community can propose what sort of maps they would like promoted, that way said promoted map can be played by everyone, for free!

Please don't propose any maps if they aren't the following:

● Somewhat balanced. No rigged maps towards any side, please.
● Is actually finished.
● Generally not troll-like.
● Follows AW rules.

Alois, would be interested in a completed Roman-era, greater European, map for game series. Am willing to collaborate with a map maker re. design, specifications and game testing. Thanks...

mmmmm, what about a map from daisy? a cold war map? idk im not a scenario player. Neither another type of that, im starting to play this maps coz im playing casual games, no more. you should talk with scenario players, it could work. also you can promote maybe the atlas map, its similar to world map but more divided, play it 5k or 10k and its actually op. I wont talk anymore, we can hope of another player that knows about this.

Many thanks for all the suggestions. There is a map that was developed by Estus that comes close to what I am looking for. It is called 'Europe WW2 (Estus)'. This map has good scope and is of high quality. I did reach out to him, Estus, some time back to get his consent to use his map. I can't quite remember what his response was but I don't remember receiving his consent? I suppose technically I don't need his consent but I would prefer to have it. The other issue I had was cloning. As I recall there was a runtime error in which there were errors preventing cloning from occurring. This was sometime back and it is very possible that this problem has been corrected. I will revisit this issue and try to document any problems, should they still exist..

I did notice that the map has been recently modified as of 10 Feb. 2020.

oh yeah, totally. of course, ancient map is hosted more than ww1 at the moment, but ok. i still say ww1 is best to promo

You shouldnt clone peoples maps unless they allow it, its bad manners. its only fair to do so if you delete the borders/countries/units; but just want to use the backround image.
