The Election is Over. Republicans Won.

The winner of the presidential election will not be determined for up to several weeks. But even if Biden wins, this was a sweeping victory for Republicans.

The Senate will retain a 51-49 or 52-48 Republican majority, and the elections of 2022 will increase this majority because of the makeup of elections. Biden will not run for a second term because he said he wouldn't. For this reason, Harris will run for president in 2024 and surely lose against any Republican candidate. We should expect Republican rule between 2024-3032, especially if Cruz or Haley runs because they would be able to amass an even bigger coalition than Trump.

Basically, it doesn't matter who wins the presidency. If Biden wins, a Republican senate cannot pursue anti-trust law with Biden in charge, and a Republican senate will not allow tax increases. The only area in which America will suffer is in foreign policy.

Another reason this was a big win for Republicans is because Trump's coalition is demonstrative of the future of the Republican party. He won Florida by over 300,000 votes. Florida will be a stronghold from this point on because minorities no longer serve at the behest of Democrats. The only demographic that Trump actually lost this election (compared to 2016) was old white men, which should be easily re-gained by any other candidate such as Cruz or Haley

More unrest will happen, no matter which outcome and will eventually get worse

I would like to see Haley run next election, Cruz is a coward.
