Basically,it is WWI in a steampunk setting.Instead of Entente and Central Powers,there are Darwinists and Clankers.

Darwinists: The Darwinists are this universe's Entente Powers,they use genetically modified creatures in war and have possibly the most unethical war force ever created.

Clankers: What's steampunk without mechs?The Clankers are this universe's Central Powers,they use hulking mechs and walking land dreadnoughts to show their power.
