After seeing the success of the UN Game (DOOM), I decided to make a UN game of my own. Afterseeing that a European one was already created, I thought I should create the region where almost half of all UN Peacekeeping missions are. A region that has been plagued with violence since the end of WWII: The Middle East!

The Middle East UN Game contains 20 alias: 7 nations, 9 groups of nations, 2 UN bases, Terrorists and Syrian Rebels.

The 20 teams are:

  • United Nations Base One (Based in the Arabian Sea)
  • United Nations Base Two (Based in the Mediterranean Sea)
  • Terrorists (Spread across countries as Al-Qaeda, Al-Qaeda in Iraq, Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, Al-Shabab, Hamas, Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), and Hezbolla)
  • Syrian Rebels (Based in Syria)
  • The Maghreb (Capital is Algiers, owns Morocco, Libya and Tunisia)
  • Egypt & Jordan
  • Sudan
  • Somalia (Includes Djibouti)
  • Israel (Tel Aviv added for balance)
  • Syria (Includes Lebanon)
  • Turkey
  • Iraq
  • Kuwait
  • Saudi Arabia (Includes Bahrain and Qatar)
  • Arab Emirates (Capital is Abu Dhabi, includes Oman and Yemen)
  • Caucuses (Azerbaijan is the capital, includes Georgia and Armenia)
  • Iran
  • Cyprus (Played as a bank since it is a tax haven)
  • Central Asia (Kazakhstan is the capital, includes Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan)
  • Pakistan and Afghanistan

Each country gets their relevent tanks and main fighter jets. Not every country has a functioning Air Force, so places like Qatar do not get any fighter jets.

Only Israel and Pakistan get nuclear weapons. This is based on realism. I am debating wether to give Iran nuclear weapons or not since it is well known that they wish to obtain one.

There is lots of oil in some places, while some don't have any. I may add in natural gas later. Oil is based off of actual location.

The scenario is published so you are free to play.

Cyprus banks collapsed :c I wouldn't put them as a tax haven anymore xaxa otherwise looks interesting gl. I think you should give iran and syria chemical weapons.

I asked my friend in Cyprus, he said it is nowhere near as bad as the EU makes it look, they just want a distraction. I was originally going to add in Bioweapons and Chem weapons but generally they are disarming the nations that have them. I might give to Syria.

There is no proof that Al-Qaeda actually "started" the rebellion, but they are part of the civil war now(well, thats what the media says anyways). You don't have to get mad vladdie

There is no proof that the Rebels are 100% Syrian.
everyone knows that the majority of the Syrian rebels have extremist groups behind them.
and don't tell me its a lie because i read more than 5 diferent News, and 2 of them are Neutral and the other 3 are pro-Usa.

>implying any news agency is neutral.
On the rest, yes, widely agreed. But it is common knowledge, that the Syrian Rebels are backed by foreign mercenaries and financed from the outside.
I don't see the point of this discussion.

Ya I agree. Chemical weapons should not have as big as an attack as nukes, but should cost the same. They should have no range because they have to be loaded on a transport. But I'm definitely starting this UN game today at some point; it looks great! Good job!

According to the number of maps released, the number of maps created within a season, and the fast number of plays and increasing playerbase.
and of the limitless inspiration that the maps produce.
