Maybe you should consider to "legalize" rewalling? It is not move you can do nothing against. You can just move 1 unit near target and rewall will fail. Just look at next situation: - enemy has Washington and you think he will go for Charlotte now, so you wall it - enemy didn't take Charlotte and it stays neutral and you are sure he will go to Atlanta because he needs more reinf, but problem is that you don't have units near Atlanta - so you use your wall at Charlotte and move it to wall Atlanta - in the same turn you are going massive on Washington and you are so confident you will take it so you go to Charlotte too and also wall it with another 3 units So you just rewall Charlotte and your plan successeded. Enemy's troops are trapped in Atlanta and you have safe Charlotte troops. You played it brilliantly, but... rewall is "illegal" so you are not genius, but cheater So why is that so? Enemy could have saved Charlotte rewalling if he put 1 unit next to it. It can be stopped. If someone outsmarts you, it doesn't mean it is illegal Maybe you should consider this Will want to see your opinions

Rewalling is not illegal it's just an unacceptable tactic by many players. You can do it if you want, but, note it may annoy some people.

The issue with rewalling is the effect it has on new players, you will rewall every turn and theyll have no clue why the wall wont break and leave aw. It is a moral type of thing. If your cought rewalling youll most likely get banned from that persons games, if i personally catch you rewalling in a game im playing in, ill personally make it my mission to end you.

You've made a huge mistake here and lacked an important consideration: why would anyone simply locate a unit next to a wall?? Usually, a player will attack a wall so that it opens up. While doing this will usually be sufficient, if you rewall, not only will he lose a move but the city won't be open for the next turn. That's not outsmarting actually, it's just a trick. Btw, keep your lawyers out of this, no legality at stake here!

Funny you say that. I met a guy a few days ago in a WW2 scenario who refused to attack Germany as Russia. He told me he didn't want to "send his men to die worthlessly" and lost. Perhaps we should all consider the human condition of death and not play this game at all

why would anyone move unit next to wall? to stop rewall maybe? if enemy has 3 more units for rewalling, you can also have 1 to stop it If most people would have used rewalling, you would also move units next to wall, you are just not got used to it because people avoid to do that

That way you make people waste two units: one to prevent rewall and another one to break the wall, in case it's not moved. That's a waste of units and a waste of time, no matter if you're used to it or not. Besides, not all players know what rewalling is and would feel confused when they see walls dont break.

RaulPB you don't HAVE TO use two units. You use them if target is really important. Players won't have much time to rewall many times anyway. You are not obligated to it

What kind of reasoning is this? This is really easy: rewalls are not considered friendly due to the asumption that attacking a wall will break it, which does not happen when someone rewalls. This makes people waste time and movements. Now, answering your non sense: - All targets are important. That's why they are considered targets in the first place. - If people rewall, then you need to use 2 units: one for breaking and the other for preventing rewall - you are not obliged to rewall either - people do not have time for preventing rewalls.

First off you should start banning all guests which ruin newbies games, just because they can't win in their own league they try to boss around new players. Not my case because some really good people picked me up and got me the ropes but for new people it's really annoying. So yeah if you are a guest and have a high rank account you are basically a jerk and a coward. Jeez.

What an idiotic post. Let's go through it step by step:
Reinforcing a city is not considered friendly due to the assumption that attacking a city with sufficiently many units to beat the currently stationed ones will conquer it, which does not happen when someone reinforces. This makes people waste time and movements.
- If people rewall, then they need to use 3 units: three to make the rewall
- you are not obliged to consider your opponent's most likely moves and choose and prioritize your own actions accordingly either. You are not obliged to turnblock either. You are not obliged to wall either. For that matter, you are not obliged to attack, defend, or play the game at all, either. You could also consider playing a game with fewer than four (reinforcement, attack, priorization and [re-]walling) game mechanics so you don't have to keep as many things in your head at the same time.
People do not have time to wall.

Excessive rewalling is a problem. People haven't encountered situations (for example asia) where someone like Huarck will seriously invest time to rewall +30 walls in order to stop your stack from moving forward. That's next level RP walling.
